As a continuing part of the 30th Anniversary Celebrations of the foundation of Death In June 'The Cathedral Of Tears' compilation album, originally issued in 1991, is now released on Vinyl for the first time as a limited edition Double 12" LP.

This also denotes a Double Celebration marking 20 years since its initial release!

The pressing is limited to 1,000 in various shades of Blue, Black and White mix, Solid Red, Black, Red and White mix and possibly Red and Gold mix (for the USA only) Coloured Vinyl copies, coming in a Red foil-blocked gatefold sleeve, 500 of which will also come with a bonus 3 track Picture Disc 7" featuring live tracks from the 5 track CD/12" single originally released in 1993.

180 will also come with a signed and numbered double-sided b/w poster (approx. 16.5"/41 cm x 23.5" x 58 cm)

Please note that the actual recording of the track 'Cathedral Of Tears' is exclusive to this album and bears no resemblance to the recording of the single version of the track released in 1993 and is also featured on the 'DISCriminate' double CD compilation.


Please also note that 'Brown Book (re-read)' and 'Brown Book (Whiphand 6 version)' have never before been released on vinyl. Both tracks were specifically remixed/recorded for the CD version of this album in 1991 and 1998 respectively.

As both versions of 'Brown Book' (specifically the 1987 original) are for the first time included on this one release we advise German customers to buy from mail order firms from elsewhere within the E.U. as this LP will not be directly available from German distributors/shops.

After years of being asked to once again perform in the live arena I recently and, I must admit reluctantly, agreed to do selected dates in Europa and perhaps elsewhere in the World.

2011 is the official 30th Anniversary of the formation of Death In June, the release of its first 12" e.p. 'Heaven Street' and first live performance in London. It's been 6 years since Death In June last performed in public and '6' is the number of June. This year is a significant landmark.

And, it's unlikely there will be a 35th Anniversary tour let alone 40th Anniversary. Times are too uncertain and Time itself has taken its toll. It is now - or never - for such a venture.

Bearing that in mind we have tried to have a comprehensive as possible selection of countries thoughout Europa and perhaps elsewhere visited during what remains of 2011. Certainly there will be countries missed out and there will be people disappointed, probably on many levels, but we are trying to make performances as accessible geographically as possible. And we trust we "let the right ones in."

Please remember that some performance locations will be kept secret until the last moment for very good reasons. Not everyone out there in internetland and elsewhere has our best interests at heart. Far from it! Remember, even if you have a ticket to such performances the information that will come your way is for YOU alone. Not your best friend who can't make it, or your record company owner who would love to go but has better things to do, or even any so-called former 'colleague' of mine etc and so on blah, blah, blah.

If they are meant to know, they'll know. If not,...it's best they don't!

Careless talk can be the difference between a show happening - or attracting 'problems' for scurrilous reasons at the last moment - which could lead to cancellation.

And certainly, going by previous experience all the real flak will start coming our way only as we get closer to the targets. And, there are still several targets yet to be finalized on this Death In June 30th Anniversary Tour. More news about them soon.

Having said all that I trust all goes very well for all concerned over the next few months and that many of the 'Altekampfer' will meet up again for good cultural times, 'Kameradschaft' and possibly one last toast to all that's been and will be again.

Regardless of all the over-excited rumours I am being sent there are NO performances by DIJ planned for ANYWHERE in the Americas this year.

As 2012 marks the 15th Anniversary of DIJ first going to the New World that situation may possibly change next year.

But, until you hear definite news from me here, or elsewhere, all else is sheer fantasy, especially regarding South America.

DEATH IN JUNE - "NADA PLUS!" 2 x CD/DVD/USB BAD VC PLUS13

In part celebration of the 30th Anniversary of DEATH IN JUNE (1981 - 2011) one of the classic albums "NADA!" is now reissued as a special limited edition "NADA PLUS!" 2 x CD + DVD/Double LP and USB.




Besides containing the original album songs and nearly all the other recorded material from 1984-85 the CDs are presented in a foil blocked, 8 panel, full colour DIJipak and also contain the songs from the '93 Dead Sunwheels' album of rarities and re-recordings (1989) as well as 4 stripped back unreleased re-recordings (2005). The accompanying DVD contains the 20th Anniversary performance in 2005 of most of the "NADA!" album plus extra Death In June material played on the night. 250 of the CD/DVDs will also come in a special Blue/Black metallic outer bag. Total run of the CD + DVD is 1,500 copies.

The Double LP (limited to 1,000 copies) comes in a foil blocked gatefold sleeve in different coloured vinyl (250 Clear vinyl in a special silver metallic outer bag and 750 Gold vinyl) and contains all the songs from the original album plus all other material officially recorded and released between 1984-85. Each LP contains a special postcard.

The wooden USB which comes in a limited edition(130 only) tin case contains everything featured on the CD + DVD and Double LP as well as the 'Night And Fog' reclaimed bootleg live album recorded in 1984 plus a large exclusive photo gallery showing many rare and unseen photos from the period.

All artwork for the CDs/LPS has been reinvented and all recordings DIJitally re-mastered.

A limited edition "NADA PLUS!" T-shirt will also be available with the release.

DEATH IN JUNE - PEACEFUL SNOW - BAD VC54 USB

DEATH IN JUNE, NER, STEELWORK MASCHINE & STEELKRAFT MANUFACTORY are proud to announce a 21st Century debut for DEATH IN JUNE with the release of the new PEACEFUL SNOW album, also available on a custom made 1 GB USB Flash drive - second edition.

The USB itself is a Black circular key-like design with a White Totenkopf 6 DEATH IN JUNE logo on one side and a Red Whiphand 6 DEATH IN JUNE logo on the other. This second edition has the same content as the 1st edition, but comes without the handnumbered tin box.

The USB version of the new DEATH IN JUNE - PEACEFUL SNOW album, whose audio tracks come in both MP3 and FLAC format, includes :

I. The full 13 tracks from the CD version of the album.

II. 2 extra instrumental tracks (PEACEFUL SNOW and THE MAVERICK CHAMBER) on the 'Lounge Corps' version of the album which is only otherwise available with the first 3,000 copies of the CD. So, 19 piano/instrumental tracks in total on the USB - not 17 as on the ltd.ed. CD.
