News-2007-THE GRASS IS ALWAYS BROWNER

THE GRASS IS ALWAYS BROWNER

On this Summer/Winter Solstice here is a gift and a challenge to some of you in this group and elsewhere who are musically, or otherwise, inclined.

Whilst beginning my writing of the new album ‘The Rule Of Thirds’ in October last year a certain ex(? can you ever be ‘ex’?) member of 10.SS Panzer Divison ‘Frundsberg’ came to mind and these words came into being.

Please feel free to put them to music of your own creation, or even do a cappella versions, of how you think these words should go, and place them on the internet via this group/MySpace etc for all of us to listen and appreciate for free.

This will not be on the new Death In June album.

Heilige! Douglas P.

  • WOULD HAVE LET YOU GO
  • BUT, I GOT LOST
  • HALF A LIFETIME AGO
  • IN THE DAWNS AND THE DEW
  • AND, THE FOG OF THE WORLD OF SNOW
  • A WINTER SUNDOG ANYWHERE
  • WOULD HAVE LET YOU GO
  • MY GERMAN WINE IS OF A DARKER HUE
  • A NEO NAZI? A SURROGATE JEW??
  • A TIN DRUM STATE
  • WELL HIDDEN AND VEILED
  • A GUNTER GRASS
  • LITTLE BLACK ANGEL SHROUD
  • BUT, HE GOT LOST
  • HALF A LIFETIME AGO
  • IN THE DAWNS AND THE DEW AND THE FOG OF THE WORLD OF SNOW
  • BUT, HE GOT LOST
  • HALF A LIFETIME AGO
  • IN THE DAWNS AND THE DEW AND THE FOG OF THE WORLD OF SNOW………”
